What is PickCommish?
PickCommish runs football squares, pools, and drafts for groups that are tired of managing them in spreadsheets and group texts. Commissioners set up a board, players pick squares, and the platform tracks scores and winners as games happen.
What was built?
- Web platform. Laravel 12 with Inertia and React, so pages are fast and the whole product lives in one codebase.
- Mobile apps. React Native apps built with Expo and published on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Billing. Stripe subscriptions with promo codes for launches and partners.
- Sign-in. Google and Facebook sign-in alongside email accounts.
- Compliance. State-level geoblocking so features are only offered where they are allowed.
- Game-day features. A live squares tracker, standings with Race View, and a draft order randomizer.
What is the PickCommish Pug?
The Pug is a small celebration device built on an ESP32 board with LEDs, audio, and an OLED display. It connects to the PickCommish Pro API and reacts when your square hits, so the win happens in the room, not just on a phone.
Why it matters for clients
PickCommish is proof of the full stack Total BS works in: web, mobile, payments, compliance rules, APIs, and hardware. The same patterns power internal tools and customer portals for small businesses. See custom software development.
